Penance is an independent, family-run design studio run by Mackenzie and Jason Palermo in Asheville, North Carolina. We met studying design in the Appalachian mountains and connected over a love of craft and nature. After years of designing together in New York, we set out to create the kind of products we always wished existed, made with integrity, purpose, and care.
